Spread over 13 acres of reserve forest land, surrounded on three sides by thick Sal forest hills and gentle murmuring Kosi river flowing down the other side along the whole length is the ‘The Den’.
The resort is concealed in thick mango grove garden that offers you and the jungle native animals hang ripe and luscious mangoes of various kinds in season.
In old times when even Corbett Park was not in existence, the spot had been used by British government as their Governor’s jungle camping and hunting ground.
40 sets in stone air-conditioned cottages with independent driveways and rooftops offering panoramic view of the jungle and Kosi River. Each cottage whether its leopards lair or Bear’s Cave is delightfully different, built of stones with wood paneled walls, wooden flooring, a fire place and luxurious bathrooms.
